The ponies of the Grayson Highlands were first introduced to the Highlands and Mount Rodgers in Virginia back in the early 1970’s. Between 10-15 herds of ponies roam the conservation area maintaining overgrowth to the parks trails and meadows and balds.
Description
One of the key elements for a successful photograph is lighting, and on each day, our natural light source the sun, will vary with intensity. A photographer may sometime appear frantic when chasing the infamous twilight, blue hour and golden hour, but a breathtaking color photograph can be taken at all hours of the day.
